My device does not have the "Move" button for moving apps!

If you are using an Android 6 (or greater) device, please visit How to format the SD card as the internal storage?

If you cannot find the Move button from your device, or AppMgr shows an "emulated" message for your device. It means that your device removes the function of moving apps to SD from the Android system so the moving apps function cannot be supported.

This is configured by the manufacturer. Nothing developers can do about this. Please ask for the manufacturer to send you an app2sd enabled ROM as Samsung does for S4.

    Hi. I am using mi max 3, android version 8.1.0. Is there any way to have the "moving to app" option to appear without asking the manufacturer? Or maybe you have a solution for mi max user? Thanks

To move apps to SD on an Android 6 or greater device, you have to format the SD card as internal storage (refer to http://bit.ly/2rOy4Uh ). Unfortunately, device manufacturers may remove the "Format as internal" option (no idea why they want to do that?). If you are using such a device, you can still format the SD card as internal without rooting the device. How to grant the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission to the Big Font app?

Some functions are only available on a rooted device and fortunately, you can enable them by using ADB to grant the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission to Big Font.
